I seasonally hear from the
media that there is no way to prevent getting the flu or other "mystery
virus". This may be true for those who only subscribe to
allopathic procedures. It is absolute nonsense for those who adhere
to certain common-sense "natural" procedures and maintain healthy,
functional immune systems. Following are some of our observations:
1. Healthy
people do not "catch" the flu. Only unhealthy people do.
(The virus is no more to blame for causing the flu outbreaks than flies are to be
blamed for causing piles of garbage.)
2. There are
ways to become and remain healthy. (see articles written by Dr. Golob at
http://www.abcompany.com/docgolob

3. There is
an article written specifically regarding the flu in Dr. Golob's offerings.
It was written for people who generally take good care of themselves, but it
is good information for everyone.
4. The
immune system requires good internal communication in order to function
quickly and efficiently. There are many substances and products which
apparently super-charge this communication. Some of these are:
(a) FRESH aloe-vera
inner leaf gel -
consumed within very few minutes of being
harvested. Several ounces each day.
(b) Aloe extracts
containing high levels of bio-available acemannan, such as
BiAloe®.
Some people have reported rapid recovery by taking five to ten times the recommended daily
serving size. Research does not necessarily support this idea,
but if you strongly believe it will, it may. Refer to the documentation provided by
the companies to understand why
these work as well as they do. Other aloe products, processed by different
methods, have not demonstrated the same effectiveness.
(c) Maitake
and/or Agaricus Blazei mushroom. I have very little
personal experience with this, but people who's opinions I respect
report it to be true. I know that the
Waiora company has
a mushroom supplement. Carrington Laboratories used to sell a
Maitake supplement, but they have gone out of business.
NOTE: These substances may
help provide short-term "rescue", but will not, in themselves,
provide good health. This can only be accomplished by learning the truth
about wellness, then living what you learn.
5. The "lemonade
diet" described by Stanley Burroughs in "The Master Cleanser"
http://www.abcompany.com/abco/aw/nutrition/fasting.htm helps stop
the intake of foods which retard healing by replacing them with natural
lemon, maple syrup and cayenne pepper.
6. ABSOLUTELY do not
consume any dairy products, meat or un-sprouted grains (especially wheat) while you are avoiding
the flu or recovering from it.
7. Avoid all stress.
This includes mental, physical and food-caused stress (the later being the
reason to avoid dairy, meat and grains.)
8. Think healthy thoughts. You CAN become
and remain healthy. You CAN be the exception. Our Creator installed a
perfect immune system in our bodies. All we need do is support it in order to
have perfect health.
