When I tell people I am a
"raw foodist" I usually either get blank
stares, or something like "EEWWWWW, YUK! I
like My meat well done!" Although many meats
can be eaten raw, that ain't what the raw
food way of LIFE is about! Not
even close!
The "proper" raw
foodist eats mostly raw leafy greens. Other
raw foods, such as seeds and nuts, zucchini,
crookneck, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, onions
and garlic are included for their own
nutritional contribution, but they are
primarily added to convert simple greens or
other foods into culinary delights. To this
writer's astonishment, raw food dishes often
equal and surpass even the most exotic
cooked gourmet dishes in taste, texture and
presentation. The health-conscious person
who takes the time to learn the recipes and
accumulate the special tools for gourmet raw
food preparation will discover that they are
not missing a thing, but rather have
advanced into a whole new level of eating
excellence.
This is a "pass
it forward" web presentation. We are
grateful to have received knowledge of the
value and excellence of raw foods. I am very
fortunate to be married to an outstanding
raw food amateur chef who delights in
presenting her husband and our friends with
beautiful, delicious and extraordinarily
nutritious food dishes including salads,
vegetable pastas and other noodle dishes,
crackers, dips, sauces, casseroles, spreads,
pies, cakes, burgers, and a whole lot more.
The whole purpose of this site is to share
what we have learned with all who will
accept it.
If you care about
your health and the health of those you
love, please spend enough time on this site
to completely internalize the concept of
eating as God intended us to eat, and caring
for our bodies as they were designed to be
cared for---with natural raw foods.
The recipe pages include a list of
ingredients and an inventory of tools for
properly preparing them. The index bar on
the right provides links to value resources
for obtaining anything that wouldn't
typically be found in the "normal" kitchen.
This site is provided as part of the
"Perfect Health! Naturally" educational
program for it's members. Because it is a
member site, there are no links to other
internal resources from this section. Should
you be interested in membership, please
