Are You Grateful For Your Pain?
Sent March 6, 2016
We are all grateful for our food, good health, friends, wealth–but are you also grateful for your pain, your illness, your enemies and all your other struggles?
Every moment of our lives is a struggle. It is through familiarity and experience of oxygen deprivation, thirst, hunger, loneliness, boredom, etc. that we strive to breathe, drink, eat, make friends and seek out distracting adventures to balance and overcome those struggles. It is the contrast between the struggle and our solutions that we perceive as joy, satisfaction, pleasure and love.
I suggest that by sincerely expressing gratitude for ALL that we experience — the so-called “good” and “bad” together, that we become able to know and experience true perfect health — the state of bliss.
For a better understanding of this important subject, become still and listen to the voice within.
