160618 What were you thinking?

“What were you thinking?”

June 18, 2016

A great many works of wisdom, including the Christian Bible, alert us to the fact that whatever we think about long and hard tends to manifest into our reality.

Earl Nightingale, the brilliant radio personality and inventor of the recorded self-improvement message, summed up his “The Strangest Secret” message as “We become what we think about most of the time.”

The purpose of the Simple Natural Health Tips daily e-mail is to get you and me and the other subscribers to spend some time every day visualizing positive, expectant thoughts about improving the conditions of our lives.

It only takes 2 to 5 minutes to read or view the daily tip. That probably isn’t enough time to be thinking about the single-most important aspect of your life–your health.

If that is the only time you invest in thinking positively about your health, you are spending about 99.5% of your waking time thinking about other, less-important things. Many of those things likely take away from your health.

One way to improve your ratio would be to keep the Simple Daily Health Tip e-mails in your inbox until the next one is delivered on the next day. Then, when you notice it still there while checking for new e-mail, stop, re-read and spend a few more moments thinking positively and expectantly about your wonderful health.

Another excellent way is to stop frequently throughout the day to give thanks for all that you have. In my opinion, our great health should top the gratitude list.
