It is good that our bodies are
not transparent. If you could see into your intestines you may not ever have the
appetite to eat again. According to forensic surgeons, a little bit of every
bite of acid-ash
food that most people have eaten throughout their entire lives has stuck in
their intestines, and it has been putrefying since it was deposited there.
Possibly
you have heard the “urban legend” about the amount of fecal matter in Elvis
Presley’s intestines. Here is an account based on the
report by the four doctors who performed the post-mortem examination on Elvis
Presley:
“The colon is approximately five to seven feet in
length in a person Elvis's size and should have been about two inches in
diameter . . . however, Elvis's colon was at least three and a half inches in
diameter in some places and as large as four and half to five inches in diameter
in others . . . [T]he megacolon was jam-packed from the base of the descending
colon all the way up and halfway across the transverse colon. It was filled with
white, chalklike fecal material.”
This column is NOT an advocacy for a vegetarian diet.
Although abstaining from eating animal products may, indeed, be the high road,
most of us identify with the comedic quip “If God didn’t want us to eat
animals, why did he make them out of meat?” The point of this article is,
if you do choose to eat the acid foods (including grains, nuts, seeds, dairy,
eggs, fish, poultry and meat) then you must periodically clean yourself out to
sustain good health.
The easiest and most effective technique that we have
found for an effective cleaning is defined in a little booklet called “The
Master Cleanser®” by Stanley Burroughs.
In it he defines a “fast” which replaces solid foods with a special lemonade
concoction. This ingeniously displaces hunger while providing essential
nutrients in a cleansing liquid diet.
There are many supplemental-type products to be used
for internal cleansing in conjunction with the Master Cleanser, or, by their
selves if you are not ready to take on a fast. This, however, is a realm which
you should enter carefully. Some people are much more sensitive to cleansing
herbs and minerals than others, and a misunderstanding of instructions can be
unbelievably uncomfortable. An excellent cleanser for some is a teaspoon of salt in a glass
of water, HOWEVER, NEVER USE PROCESSED TABLE SALT as it contains drying agents
which counteract the process and leave toxic accumulations in your body. “Real
Salt™” or
Dynamite's® "NTM Salt™"
or a pure sea salt from an unpolluted source is needed for this treatment.
Also, some people have health problems that cause them to react adversely to
large amounts of salt. These people should obviously not use this method without
employing applied kinesiology testing
(last weeks column) to be certain
that it will be okay.
Natural laxative products may be used briefly in
place of the Real Salt during the fasting period to expedite intestinal
cleansing. If you are a member of a health-oriented network marketing company,
they likely have a product to help you with this. If not, many natural food stores
sells an effective product called “Super Dieter’s Tea.” Until you are
familiar with it's effect on you, be careful with
the dosage you take! Personally, I brew a cup with one tea bag and then begin
with only a tablespoon of the tea. Drinking an entire cup may restrict
your travel to within 20 feet of the small room for the better part of a day.
If your intestines are clogged, you will be
astounded
at how much better you feel when you have cleaned out! Dr. Golob suggests the lemonade
fast one day each week, then, if you are healthy enough, a long one (eleven days or more) each spring. Doing
so will definitely add "spring" to your step!
